Avoid Unique Windows like the plague. We had them install a 50 yr roof a few years ago and afterwards they were constantly calling us to see if we had any other home improvement projects they could help us with. My wife worked nights at the time and despite asking them to quit calling they would call anyway and wake her up. I finally had to threaten them with legal action to make them stop.

A family member recently used Koontz and I thought the price sounded reasonable for the job that was done. Rcv is popular too.

We used RCV and are very pleased. We also looked at Koontz and I think either would be great. But neither are particularly low-priced. They're not gold-plated, just not cut-rate. Trust me, you do *not* want to go cut-rate on your roof -- you will pay far more over the years in both dollars and worry if you do.

Rcv is going to be on the expensive side. I used terry weiss, weiss roofing co. You'll sacrifice some degree of professionalism vs rcv, but your cost will be better. Weiss will add a second layer of shingles as well.
