http://www.serenityinthemountains.com We stay here when our cabin is being worked on. Really nice, big suites! Fireplaces. Convenient to downtown. Bathrooms are huge. Laundry in the room. Kitchen. Not really “up in a mountain” but off the main road ... so, easy access.

Either the place that Todd Martin suggested or this one. I live in Ellijay and wouldn't recommend either of the hotels that are located there. https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/microtel/jasper-georgia/microtel-inn-and-suites-jasper/overview

So it is not quite where you are looking but Hiker Hostel outside Dahlonega has some cool shipping container rooms for around 50 dollars a night.

we use mountainlaurelcabinrentals.com a whole lot, but i cant say that i've seen one around 50 a night.. airbnb would probably be the best route..
nfult replied:
It's getting a bit chilly and I know you asked for a b&b but what about camping? There are a lot of great parks in and around Blue Ridge. It would be a great option to keep costs down if you have some gear or can borrow it. We used to do that all the time. Most of the b&bs or cabins we have tried are a few hundred per night. Be sure to bring some warm clothes and lots of blankets if you decide to camp as it gets a bit chilly in the mountains this time of year.
eastcoastian replied:
Have you tried airbnb? Lots of people have their vacation homes and cabins listed in there.
