Good morning. DH and I are looking to get away from the maddening crowd. When is the best time to visit BR? Any suggestions on where to stay? Looking to relax,...

The Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast is a great place to stay in downtown Blue Ridge. Youre right in the center of town and steps from shopping and dining

I have a cabin in the beautiful Cashes Valley area with some dates still available in September. The location is very private and definitely away from the crowds. The Ellijay River Vineyards are not far as well as a trailhead for the BMT. Check out my calendar at http://dreamviewcabin.com

Joni Altman Lee with Suches Vacation Rentals can hook you up. Suches is the perfect place with a slower pace and no crowds. Check it out! https://www.facebook.com/SuchesVacationRentals/

We have a rental cabin in Cherry Log. Great location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Private. Beautiful views, too. Even if not our cabin, I still recommend the area. Now - Dec are great months to visit. The fall (Oct/Nov) is extremely busy with things to do, vacationers, traffic, so keep that in mind. The fall leaves are beautiful, esp Mid Oct- Early Nov. Peak week is variable. https://m.facebook.com/lostintheview/

Sorry, no--I meant a cabin called Fernbank, in nearby McCaysville. You can find it on www.vrbo.com, property # 869143.

If your looking to avoid crowds, come right after Labor Day or just before Thanksgiving. The Fall crowds won't be swarming. However, anytime in BR is a great time. You can check out our cabin, here. We are one of 5 cabins on a small, private lake. Quite relaxing. Great place to unwind. Www.vrbo.com/473578 I suggest booking direct with me for the best rates and availability.

Tilley Ridge is awesome if you want to be on the lake. It is close to the Toccoa River, iron bridge, Benton Mckaye Trail and National Forest for excellent photo opportunities https://www.vrbo.com/1093865?unitId=1642023

You'll find a lot of people who simply own a DSLR camera around here and automatically call themselves a photographer. A pro body and lens combo is a must... If you want great photos. Just my two cents before you hire just anyone. Randy Gray is one of the few people I definitely recommend.
We will be spending our anniversary at our cabin in Epworth next week and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good wineries to visit. Thanks!
Hello all! I was looking for a recommendation on a winery. I'm trying to stay as close to BR as possible. Thank you! (And I LOVE reading these posts!!)
