We have a rental cabin in Cherry Log. Great location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Private. Beautiful views, too. Even if not our cabin, I still recommend the area. Now - Dec are great months to visit. The fall (Oct/Nov) is extremely busy with things to do, vacationers, traffic, so keep that in mind. The fall leaves are beautiful, esp Mid Oct- Early Nov. You'll find a lot of people who simply own a DSLR camera around here and automatically call themselves a photographer. A pro body and lens combo is a must... If you want great photos. Just my two cents before you hire just anyone. Randy Gray is one of the few people I definitely recommend.
