I really like Mali Thai Bistro off of 291. It has great appetizers, and some of the best Thai I've personally had in the Metro.

Third Street Social is a favorite of my wife and I in LS. Good choice! We ordered their brunch last Sunday with a mimosa kit!

Two of my favorites are in Bayberry shopping center on 291, which is mysteriously closed, except for Tacos El Mercadito. They‘ve got decent street tacos, plantains, and papusas. Carmen’s Cantina in the same shopping center has great tacos, but they were closed when we tried to order from there yesterday. China 88 is decent for Americanized Chinese food, but their website says they’re closed until 3/31. I’ve been wanting to try Sahara Mediterranean in that same area, but haven’t been there yet. Let us know what you try & what you like! *edited for typos—but there may be more

If you’re willing to be in the car for just a couple more minutes... Canoe Club for great food, Porky’s for BBQ, Barrigas for Mexican, and Panchos in Blue Springs for amazing take out burritos.

Long Bell is currently closed, but they're trying to reopen asap. One of the best pies that I've found in KC. Waldo Pizza is also great and will give you a pickup time when you call. I'm a fan of Konrad's, thrilled to hear that they're alive and kicking - will call them asap.

Martin City Brewing over off 50 Hwy is really good. My wife and I had never been there because of how crowded it has been but we got a pizza and brussels sprouts from there the other day and it was all really good. If you're a coffee drinker Whistle Stop and Gusto! Coffee are both very good as well.

Main Slice pizza is really good. I would also second the Gusto and Longbell suggestions.

Sabor Latino downtown. Really great Latin food place. They just opened up and I’m hoping they can make it thru all this

Tikka Twist has good Indian food. The Tokyo Grill next to Price Chopper is the best sushi in town (I say as someone who lived in CA for 12 years). Those are my favs, along with 3 rd Street Social and Summit Grill.
