Not sure if you're still looking but I've been waiting for opportunities to refer my OBGYN. If you're willing to go out to Enumclaw her name it Tanya Wilke. She has her own practice now. She actually knows your birth plan and follows it, she's completely open to letting things happen naturally and in their right time. When I had my daughter last year the nurse kept trying to push to turn the lights on. One of the things in my birth plan was to not have super bright lights glaring on my little one as she came into the world. It wasn't a hUge deal, just a preference. Dr Wilke totally supported my birth plan and made sure the nurse didn't turn them on. Every nurse in the delivery room knew and was familiar with my birth plan, mentioned it, etc. I was floored and SO relieved. It was amazing. After the delivery she asked if we wanted to see the placenta and explained the things that were unique about mine -it was shaped like a tree and the cord had a heart kink in it (sounds gross but in the moment it was pretty beautiful). Those are just a few of the mAny things I liked about her. She does fully support immunizations so if you're on the fence or against them at all she'll highly recommend you find a different doctor after the delivery, but for the pregnancy and delivery she was phenomenal.

Has anyone had experience with an Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) plan? Do you like it? Have you had any doctors or hospitals say they won't take it? Do you get good...
Samantha B. replied:
I love it. However, we qualify for Apple health. I think many people are actually confused on what Obama care is. Because of Obama care we qualify for Apple health. We have never been turned down or had any issue. I have also never paid for prescriptions. Like Marcelene Durham-Beezley said about the raise. My husband has been offered raises but has had to turn them down because the overall cost would not be in our favor. It also keeps me from lookibg for a job. Unless of course they offer free health care. Which is hard to find. But the extention plan has helped qualify more people in a wider range of income. As far as not qualifing plans have gone up in cost. But that is inflation. It's now law. Personally I think it's an excellent law. As a medical biller I have seen thousands of people lose everything due to medical bills. Unfortunately, captilism is also in the health insurance industry. I would like to see a every nateral born American to be covered under a government plan. But that will never happen because no one wants to pay more taxes. Everyone wants to have what Europe has but no one wants to pay for it.
Teresa R. replied:
I don't like it at all, apple health is a program for low income and is a state program Obama Care is a Federal Program so why does the state have any say? just another way to spend the money the way the state wants to, instead of low income families being treated as equal to any one else, we are all created equal whether rich poor or middle class we should all receive the same benefits from Obama care and the State should not be able to be involved when it comes to our health care. I feel this is discrimination and it is not working have to see three doctors before can even get anything done which is a waste of money and the state should see that. check your policy cause Molina is limited on specialist you can see unless you like multi care which I do not. having to travel long distance from home to see a doctor or specialist is ridiculous when one is right around the corner from my house I demand we all be treated as one this is Federal not state.
Aileen T. replied:
See if m having trouble with uñderstanding Obama care and state medical? Back home it must be different can someone explain
Katie G. replied:
I've had a nightmare trying to find good doctors. If you're healthy and really only need preventative care then it's not a big deal. But if you have ongoing health issues and need to see specialists, it's best to get private insurance if you are able. And also hardly any GOOD dentists accepts my healthcare and instead of filling cavities, they usually seem to only take the cheapest route (supported by the insurance companies) rather than taking care of the teeth properly. This has been my experience. We're getting our own private insurance as soon as we can. We get treated like garbage.
Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this but I'm new to the area and just found out I'm pregnant. I'd love some reccomendations on where I can find a good...
