Dr Peterson at the Seattle Arthritis Clinic. Love him. Great guy. Took about a year for a diagnosis, but he was being thorough and wanted to ensure it wasn't something else. Very understanding/compassionate too. Good luck.
Kenny W. replied:
Renee, I will look into Dr Peterson. I'll google the Seattle Arthriti Clinic and call them tomorrow. It sounds like he has helped you a lot. Thanks for the info. You don't know how much I appreciate some info like this.

Anyone have any referrals for an awesome pediatric orthopedic doctor? Tyler hurt is knee at baseball and needs one. Thanks!
Brooke S. replied:
we used Dr Braley was great with Colton 253-697-3450.... hope all is OK with Tyler
Jen F. replied:
I was just going to say not Dr. Braley, he wasn't helpful when Claire was dealing with her knee issues. Dr Husarik referred us to a pediatric guy at Mary Bridge that he brought his son to -- I'll try to find his name and send it to you. Barley came highly recommended but I think we would've saved a lot of time & money if we would've gone straight to a peds guy.

Union Avenue Pediatrics, ih has changed names but if you google it, it will come up. It's the only Dr office that has a well child clinic for your kids and an office for the sick kiddos. Same building, just different suites. Your healthy babies never have to share a waiting room with the sick kiddos. And all the docs are amazing. If you call the sick clinic by noon on any given day they are guarantee to see you that day too. Love love love them. It's in Tacoma off union ave. Will be worth the drive.
Angy D. replied:
UNIVERSITY PLACE PEDIATRICS! I can't stress it enough, Woodcreek is a complete JOKE! I also moved here about 10 yrs ago not knowing the area and went to Woodcreek since it was close. Every time the we went they were always wanting to run tests, we would always wait for extreme amounts of time (even when we had appts) and the Dr's never knew anything(weather our regular or if we needed to walk in). Dr Megan Struthers or any other Dr at University Place pediatrics had always been amazing, never needing to run tests. The good old fashioned care that we grew up with. They just just know by asking g questions and checking out your child. Dr Davies is also at this office. There are 6 Dr's here. They also have an after hours dr on call(they alternate weekly between them all) and they take calls all hours of the night.

Dr. Scronce at the Holistic Health Clinic in Tacoma off of Pearl. She's awesome, personable, and very connecting. She's a Naturopathic Doctor who approaches the body by nature first through diet, natural supplementation, etc. and can prescribe rx if needed, only if all other routes have been tried and an rx is a must.

Sound Family Medicine - I see Dr. Merrifield and my hubby sees Dr. VanGieson (sp?) - they listen to you and look for the problem, not just write a prescription.
