Grubhub delivers from Flour Bakery. I would recommend the 6" Boston Cream Pie. We have enjoyed a version of this for every occasion from a phD defense to July 4 th celebrations. https://www.grubhub.com/restaurant/flour-bakery--cafe-190-massachusetts-ave-cambridge/131800 It a cake not a pie in reality.

Lyndell's in Somerville has fucking amazing cakes (and lots of other stuff too). Looks like they have catering services, so I would imagine you could finagle a cake delivery. If she likes carrot cake, they have the BEST carrot cake I've ever had. http://lyndells.com/catering/

What about doing something like Edible Arrangements. They have a pretty big selection and it won’t leave her with an entire cake to finish

Yum Bunnies in Belmont does one very similar although not fresh cream or cheap but my God are they good. Great art work too.

There are so many good bakeries all over the place. All depends on where you are, how far you want to go for one and how much you want to spend. The Harvard Sweet Boutique, in Hudson is fantastic, but then so is the one on the common in Natick, but not much use if you're looking down town in Boston. Though as a side note, some of the Brazilian bakeries tend to be a fair bit cheaper and they're rather fab too.
Does anyone know how I could find a bakery in the Seattle area (venue is in West Seattle) willing to make pies or mini pies for 130 people? We are looking for something...
Brooke T. replied:
Maybe Snohomish Pie Company?
Leeching W. replied:
Shoofly Pie closed last August =( That would have been perfect since they were in West Seattle
Jenny B. replied:
Anne MacDougall I'm the owner of Snohomish Pie Company. Would love to answer any questions you may have. Our 2 nd location in Mountlake Terrace opens March 14 th which is closer. But you are more than welcome to call in for a tasting. We do mini pies (3") pie bites (2") jrs (5") and pie pops. 360-568-3589
I want to try a new breakfast spot... Any suggestions? I've tried Dot Ave Cafe, Haley House, McKenna's Cafe, Sweet Life Bakery and Cafe, and Silver Slipper Restaurant.

If you feel up for the troop go to Sound Bites in Somerville. The service is good but the food is amazing and cheap.
I would like to send my BU student a cake or cupcakes for her upcoming birthday. All the resources listed on the BU Parent Program page are non-vegan. Does anyone know...

There are lots of options... Your best bet may be Veggie Galaxy in Central Square, Red Lentil in Watertown, or My Thai in Chinatown. Try calling them for more information, contact details can be found http://www.bostonveg.org/restaurants/index.html
