Check out Landrys or Back Bay Bikes - I know they do bike rentals.
Best bikes to rent are from Boston adventours which hs a bike shop down near aquarium, they have great carbon bikes if you need them. If you just need a cruiser, to get around, use the city bike stands that are all over

If you are OK with a cruiser and not a road bike, you won't beat the BlueBike bike share deal. $10 for 24 hours of access, 2 hour rides between docking, $2.50 for each additional half hour. [https://www.bluebikes.com/pricing/explorer-pass](https://www.bluebikes.com/pricing/explorer-pass)

Riverside Motorsports in Somerville is supposed to be good but I haven't used it. Greater Boston Motorsports in Arlington is pretty big and handles all types of bike. I have heard around that they have a rep for some sketchy business practices but they've done work for me a number of times and seemed on the level as far as I could tell. edit: by way of reference, I've had a Kawasaki in the area for a couple years now.

You might want to try Frank over at Smooth Automotive in Medford. His business now caters mostly to cars, but they used to be exclusively a scooter/motorcycle shop. It's worth a call, anyway. http://smoothautomotive.com/ He (and his bike guy Adam(?)) do great work, and they're good people.

Pretty much the only two worthwhile options listed that I have used. Can't complain about either. That being said...did you try cleaning the seals? The seals may not be bad. If you have dust covers, drop them. Use a business card, a 3/1000 th feeler gauge, a piece of 35 mm film...pretty much anything thin and flexible enough and run it around the inside of the seal carefully. Clean up the forks and recheck for leak(s). Try this before plopping down the money. Depending on age of bike/seals it may just be dirt causing them to leak, and not necessary bad/worn seals.

Both riverside and GBM have legit service departments and should be able to do what you need. Riverside is moving to a new space soon (or already has?) So double check their location. As with all repair shops, get a written estimate and Ifspecify OEM or aftermarket parts. OEM may be needlessly expensive (genuine Suzuki brake levers? Whatevs) or a cheap-out you don't want to take.

I had mine done at Cycle Loft in Burlington. My hands were tingling then starting to get numb every time I rode. Then I was getting pain in hands and wrists even when I wasn't riding. The fitting fixed this problem immediately!

I love Cycle Loft! I've also heard Fit Werx on the North Shore is amazing (though pricey). They cater to triathletes.
