Julie Egan Auld TV's are junk these days. No idea what you have, but I'd guess you'd be better off buying a new one. Larossa Shoe (right across from my store in Columbian Square in Weymouth) still does all types of she repair.

I have taken shoes to Whitman Shoe Repair & Dry Cleaning. Yes, it's a dry cleaning place too. The phone number is 781-447-9258 and it is located at 549 Bedford Street. It is right next to Stop and Shop on the gas station side. Someone said they were closed, but I haven't been in about 3 years, so I'm not sure. You could call to find out.

goto Famouse Footware in Hanover mall..I spoke with a woman who is very familiar with sneakers and proper walking shoes.....she was so helpful and smart for what type of shoe my daughter needed for trask and for me for every day walking.

I loved Le Foot, I'm sad it's closed. I'm going to dissagree with some of the other peeps here, Bodega is tres spense and pretty much for sneaker heads. I'd try Urban or the Tannery first.

Urban Outfitters on Newbury. You could try DSW at Downtown Crossing - they have a very decent variety of everything.

I was also a big fan of Le Foot, and was sad when they closed (ice cream+sneaker trips were fun). Unfortunately, I never found a good replacement (in my price range, that is; Bodega is up there). I get all my kicks through Zappos these days. Basically infinite selection.

The first ever KangaROOs shoe store opened up on Newbury Street this summer, and not a lot of people know about it. They've got pretty decent shoes.
