Can anyone recommend a labor law/employment attorney? Any and all information would be helpful in filing a discrimination/sexual harassment claim. Thank you!

Stephanie Cecilia as a start, go to this site. My recollection is that they will assign someone to investigate the allegations. There should also be a local office where you can call or visit. http://www.eeoc.gov/employees/charge.cfm

Stephanie Cecilia, as the Human Resource Manager for a company that in fact violated ADA, I had first hand experience with MCAD. I knew we violated the law but my boss refused to listen to me. Anyway, the employee went to MCAD. MCAD did the investigation and acted as her representative during negotiations . I suspect if we refused to reach agreement and we went to court she may have had to retain an attorney, however, up to that point MCAD was her adviser, fighting for her. Might not be the kind of adviser you want, but wanted to share my experience with them.

If you end up needing an attorney, I highly recommend Katherine Michon. Pricey, but worth it. http://www.shilepsky.com/k_michon.php
Looking for a labor lawyer in Boston, any recommendations? It's somewhat time sensitive. I was recently let go and have 2 weeks to sign my seperation agreement, but I...

I don't have a specific referral, but the couple of times I have needed an attorney in Massachusetts, I have used the Massachusetts Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service (http://www.masslawhelp.com/). They will refer you to an attorney in your community with the skill set you need. And the attorney agrees to charge no more than $25.00 for the first half hour consultation. After that, the attorney charges his or her normal rate. The referral itself, though, is free. I have been extremely satisfied with the attorneys matched to me through this services. Best of luck.

National Employment Lawyers Association Annual Convention in Boston in June! I highly recommend going. Student rate can be covered by NEU Graduate Council funding.
