Am not making contact with Dr. Maas. But, Dale Neifert called me back and she can give shots, but unfortunately is off Island until after we leave. A good source for someone else though.
Hi All,
Does anyone know of a good vet in the Bothell area?
Lucy I. replied:
Yes - Evergreen animal hospital 425 821 9040. My vet for12 years - the best.
Liz O. replied:
Just a bit east of Bothell in Woodinville - Drs Marsh & Frey at Woodinville Animal Hospital.
Jennifer S. replied:
My show/pet family goes to: Dr Bliven at Mountainview animal hospital in Snohomish. I'd go w/ Lucy Isaacson-Logen's referral first, but these give you options:)
Jennifer S. replied:
One more from a pet family in Bothell: Bothell pet hospital... (its right next to the Bothell library) They see Dr Kovar. They say "She is the best!!!" She loves their daughter too and always tries to get her involved!...I think that part is cool too:) 425-486-3251
Paul G. replied:
I also recommend Woodinville Animal Hospital. Two of the nicest guys you will ever meet. They show dogs as well.
Does anyone have the island vet's number? Dr. Adolf Maas? Or does anyone have any doggie ibuprofen?
Sandi S. replied:

Janet D. replied:
About ibuprofen- be VERY careful, it can be risky. See info http://www.petmd.com/.../c_dg_ibuprofen_advil_poisoning...
Claire S. replied:
Thank you Sandi. Dr. Maas made a house call and took excellent care of our Lola. What a blessing to have such a devoted veterinarian and genuinely nice man here on the island. Deb, she hurt her other leg:-(

Does anyone know how much a dental cleaning cost for small dogs? How much does your vet charge? My girls need a cleaning and there vet charges a fortune for everything!...
Cherryblossom L. replied:
there is also pearlywhites.com. where they come to your house and do your dogs teeth, they hold the dog and scrape thier teeth with no drugs at all.i am going to try them next
Kendra d. replied:
I wouldn't jump to conclusions (note that I take a very minimalist approach when it comes to vets), it's probably not necessary to panic until a vet explicitly tells you they need to be cleaned or removed. I would continue to brush if you can, or get one of those gels that go in their water. pets are generally only in annually for check-ups, if something was really wrong thye'd let you know. Unfortunatley Harley has severe allergies so he can't have any dental treats, but one I used to give ages ago were called Zukes they were healthy and had no bad corn or additives.
Kendra d. replied:
hmmm I had gotten a quote for a tooth hauling and cleaning and it was $1200. But I don't remember what the cleaning alone was. That was at Willowdale Animal hospital on Sheppard West.
While we're talking veterinarians, is there a vet in or near Monroe who treats exotic pets? I'm specifically hoping for one who can treat sugar gliders.
Michael B. replied:
It's a little further than Monroe, but just off the 405 Beardslee exit (in Bothell) is The Exotic Vet clinic and they actually state they treat gliders on their homepage. http://www.theexoticvet.com
Looking for a good veterinarian for my snake I’m looking for a good reptile vet in the Seattle area for my snake and was hoping someone here has a good recommendation?...
Does anyone know a vet in the area that will do vaccines for cats without exams? I was going to do them myself, but apparently that isn't good enough for the state.
Michelle E. replied:
We go to Westgate Veterinary in Edmonds. They're awesome, and I'm pretty sure would do just vaccines.
I am looking for a good vet that deals with dog skin issues. So far I have been to three different vets but no one can figure out the problem. Meanwhile my dog is...

You can try Dr Fry in Issy? He might be able to rec someone closer to you.
Hi All,
We are in a bit of a bind. We need somewhere to put Aggie for a 2 day commitment. She is older at 12 years and we need a place for her waiting for test results...
