You probably don't need to schedule a Caesarean section. Most moms can safely give birth without surgery, a big study ...
Heather H. replied:
The Midwifery Group at Swedish used to do tandem care with their OB consults. Again in Denver not Boulder. I think they still do. Give them a call
Jessica A. replied:
I did not have twins, but I had a NUVBAC (my c-section was in Florida) with Boulder Women's Care and was really happy with the experience. Very low intervention at Boulder Community Foothills Hospital. Dr. Jamroz was my OB. For more specific recommendations I'd suggest joining BoulderRocknMoms or Boulder County Parents of Twins & More (both on yahoo).
Lyndsy C. replied:
Dr Hall at Swedish hospital works with mountain midwifery. Not positive if he delivers twins?? But he's very experienced and very nice. Have only had him for my 20 wk ultrasounds but I know others that like him as well.
Pauli D. replied:
I don't know any fabulous doctors in Boulder. But to have a truly great birth, I think the drive to Denver is worth it. I have been to completely natural twin births with Dr. Breeden, and also with the Obstetrix practice at P/SL. The people I know who have had twin births at home, have chosen to give birth in Utah. It is legal there.:)
Anna A. replied:
i don't know about boulder, but there is a doctor in denver, Dr Johnny Johnson that my midwife refers to when there is a breech or twin birth...
Sarah M. replied:
I am a doula and mom of twin boys I delivered with Dr Breeden at PSL. I didn't have pain meds and I had a great experience. Birth centers in CO won't touch twins unfortunately. Message me to talk more.
Rebekah B. replied:
Pamela Banks Candelaria may know of someone:)

Loretta Carridan Luchau, Til Luchau, Lucretia Holcomb, Bradley Holcomb, Tara Luchau one of them might know
Krista S. replied:
She should join the Birthing Multiples Naturally group on here. It has been a great resource for advice and support since finding out about my twins:) There are women from all over the country/world too.
Heather T. replied:
Out of hospital twin birth is not performed in Colorado at this time. Two providers I know who will attend vaginal breech births include Dr. Breeden and Dr. Hall. They both practice in Denver though. And I think they both have you deliver in the OR. Ill ask about physicians in Boulder! I currently live in Denver.
A mama needs some help...
Any suggestions for a midwife between Boulder and Broomfield, focusing on natural deliveries?
Jenny F. replied:
This woman is local, did my belly henna, and would know midwives that have this focus - she is also a doula (but not a midwife). http://www.facebook.com/mandalajourney?ref=ts&fref=ts
Kia R. replied:
Elizabeth Moore is my midwife based out of Boulder and I am working on baby #2 under her care.
Jill K. replied:
I second Elizabeth Moore. She's amazing at her job, has almost 20 years experience, and she creates wonderful community amongst her clients. I met my mama friends with new babies through her monthly potluck. Both my naturopath and family physician recommended her highly, and everyone in town I meet that worked with her gives her rave reviews.
Dawn W. replied:
I loved Karen Robinson . She caught my last 2 babies. That's me and my newest on her front page. http://www.bouldermidwifery.com/
