Once or twice a year, usually around the beginning of the semester, the MSU police auction off all the bikes they've impounded and no one picked up. You can get great deals there last time I went I got my top condition road bike for ten bucks.

Try Second Wind Sports or Play It Again. Or, if you can hold out until spring, you could look at the Bike Swap.

Gear Wizard has some second hand bikes that looked pretty good. Not sure on prices but one I looked at was 175.

Check Craigslist and Facebook yardsale pages. We've found bikes for our boys that are very affordable and name brands.

I'd contact Yellowstone Motorsports. They are the new owners of the Honda shop in Bozeman, and are highly reputable.

Here is what my friend said. Hope this helps. Hi, when are they coming to ride in Italy? In this season almost every bike park is closed, maybe it's still possible to ride in warmer areas like Liguria, in places like Finale Ligure with vans and trailers. There's a nice network of enduro/freeride trails in my region but not all are lift assisted, you have to organize with vans and trailers or pedal up. Speaking about dh trail and bike parks in summer for me the best spot in italy is Mottolino Fun Mountain bike park in Livigno, I also like Bardonecchia, Pila bika park, Sauze d'Oulx, Alpi Bike Resort Caldirola Downhill, and my local spot Mera Bike Park. Another park I love is Monginevro in France just past the italian border. Just have a look at these sposts on the internet and let me know if you need more detailed informatione, maybe we can ride together there too!

Owenhouse, Roundhouse, Summit bike shop Bike peddler for used possibly, search BMX Race Bikes for Sale on facebook there are alot of nice bikes posted on there, but micros are hard to find, good luck hope to see you at the track!

Thomas, glad to hear you're ready to get back into the gate and pass it along to your son. My advice is to check with Bike Peddler - they don't stock new BMX bikes any longer, but were happy to order me several bikes through their distributor that were a year or two older - same technology as current models. New in the box, but great savings - especially since we purchased two at once. We purchased a Free Agent Team cruiser and micro mini. My son loves that our bikes look the same.
