I use Little Apple for my business in Manhattan, they are great!
I'm sure this question has been asked multiple times-who is the best internet service provider in town? My Charter had been regularly kicking every device in the house...
Emily S. replied:
that shouldn't happen, obviously. I've actually had some success calling Charter support and getting a live person who helped me. This is the number I've called: 855-757-7328. But first, turn off all your devices. Then turn off your router (and modem if it's a separate device). Turn the router back on, then the modem and wait few minutes. Then turn your devices back on. See if that helps
Are there any internet service providers that serve more rural areas that are reliable? We are in Jackson Creek area. Thx!
Amy M. replied:
Wild Blue is extremely slow. We use Verizon for our mobiles and have it set up that we can tether our laptops to our cell phones. It is significantly faster than when we had satellite internet.
Russ B. replied:
Whatever you do, don't use Wild Blue Satelite unless it's your last option. Satellite...ALL satellite we have access to is SLOOOOOW. Let's review options from fastest to slowest: Fastest Charter (cable) Next Century Link (DSL) Probably not available Wireless Little Apple Global Net WispWest LTE Verizon (they have a wireless router for your house) Satellite Wild Blue (bad contracts and slow speed)
Looking for a good internet service provider. I have been with Century Link and the customer service is awful and it's just been a bad experience! Any other...
Alison M. replied:
Charter's customer service is garbage, but the Internet service is stable enough that you rarely have to call them. Their cable TV service is terrible, though.
Does anybody have a recommendation for a really really good ISP in the Bozeman area??? I am generally done with Bresnan/Optimum/Whomever the hell bought them this month..
Alison M. replied:
I used Little Apple Technologies too and was really satisfied. The were in Logan or Three Forks? But that was@least 3 years ago too.
Can someone please tell me if I should get TV service such as Direct TV with my Internet service or should I just use a Roku or Firestick?
Nicole H. replied:
I haven't purchased cable or satellite in over 5 years. I have a smart TV and before I used a PS3 for streaming. We also have an attena for local channels. If there are channels you want I'd recommend looking into Sling TV. It's a streaming based way to watch television channels and they have most common ones as well as sports and news channels. It is a lot cheaper and no contract. And I believe they have a few offers for free/reduced price streaming players if you order the service. I have never used Sling but I have heard great things about it and we will likely purchase it soon for the sports channels.
