We moved here in October. People were not too polite when we asked for help/advice on jobs and places and things of that sort. Once you are here though, people are very nice and accepting. Turns out 80% of people we have met, aren't actually from here either. I am in the construction trade as well (Electrical, in Manhattan), and would have him look with R&R Taylor Construction, Langlas & Associates and Martell Const.
