I second the Dr office at Bovaird & Airport. They are great. I've been going there for over 2 years now and they are really easy to get in to see. I can call in the morning and get in to see our dr usually the same afternoon!

First suggestion... look for a family health team. There's usually a group of doctors so, if you can't see *your* doctor, you may be able to see another. They often tend to have other professionals too like nurse practitioners, dieticians, social workers, etc. Note that, if you join a FHT, you are not allowed to use walk-in clinics as your doctor gets penalized if you do. Queen Square Doctors at Main & Vodden has a large group of doctors. They're pretty good there.

Dr. Katie Yu is pretty good, and I think still taking new patients.

My vote is for Dr. Nematullah. His practice is still new so he's taking patients and I've never had to wait. He is young, knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. One possible downside is his office is downtown, a bit past Four Corners. Keystone Medical Family Clinic 111 Queen st West Unit 103 905-793-8443

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a good family doctor who is taking new patients. Anyone have suggestions in the Brampton /Caledon /Orangeville area? Thanks!
Angela M. replied:
You can check this website to see if you are eligible to enrol in this program that helps you find a family doctor. The only other thing I can think of is to call either Brampton Civic Hospital or Headwaters Hospital in Orangeville to see if they know of physicians accepting new patients. You can also get their name and google it to see if there are any reviews about that doctor and it may help in your decision. http://health.gov.on.ca/en/ms/healthcareconnect/public/overview.aspx

Pat, I am going to Dr Tita in Caledon east. She is wonderful. You can give her receptionist a call and see if she is still excepting new patients. I think Mandy goes to her also.
My family is looking into getting a new family doctor closer to home. Our current doctor is in Brampton. Can anyone suggest a practice in Orangeville, Erin, Caledon...

Looking for a family doctor in Georgetown that's accepting new patients, for my father, really needs to be local as he won't be able to drive much longer
