Further away tends to still be well available. AN is organizing all shuttle services so getting to and from the con shouldn't be a problem. I'd recommend a hotel with free breakfast because that way you are guaranteed one square meal a day. I would suggest not relying on ATM machines during the con. They usually run out of cash at some point. There were some set up right outside the entry door of the Congress Centre last year, though, and they were probably well stocked. If you bring cash, you have it with you and you can't spend more. I try to pay for the room and food on plastic and shopping in cash.
