Anyone have a very talented podiatrist that has helped with plantar fasciitis? I've done everything I can think find not to get the shot, but it may be time to put that...

Check out Julie Ashlock at MBJ Health - she's been able to help keep me pain free for years without reporting to injection. https://www.facebook.com/MBJHealth...See More

Agree with shoes at Happy Feet. I have flip flops (Kenkoh) and insoles for my tennis shoes. Also, physical therapy with deep tissue massages really helped. I went to Sullivan Rehab on Bloomingdale. Pam Sandifer was my PT. She really, really helped. I am back to working out! Good luck, it is no fun

Dr. Randi Johnson. I also had cortisone shots for the same issue. The needle does not hurt, but the relief from the plantar fasciitis only lasts a short time.
Marcia B. replied:
Go to advanced podiatry in South Tampa. They are huge into alternative therapies. They fixed my broken foot and displaced bone and injured tendon without surgery. Nobody in Brandon offers what they do, you will not be sorry if you go to them. Dr. Katz is excellent and the other doctors in his practice are great as well.
Tami L. replied:
Dr. Brandi Johnson with Advanced Foot and Ankle Specialist. She knows where to inject and makes it as painless as possible. Plus she is just really very nice and personable. Trust me, don't put this off thinking you can power through the pain, you just make it worse. If you need to go for physical therapy, Sullivan Rehab is great.

See Dr Kristi Conway. 685-3668. Her office is by Khol's.
Hubby might have torn his Achilles tendon. Our primary Dr wants him to see a podiatrist. Any recommendations for a good one?

I second Dr. Conway. She's awesome.

I think.working some of the kinks out last night actually helped my workout this morning. Now if I can get rid of the pain in my foot I should be in good shape. Anyone...

Dr. Steven Baker. Went to him for a second opinion after florida orthopedic recommended surgery. Didn't need the surgery and he fixed my nerve issues.

Dr Shandels but I don't think he takes your insurance. Too bad because he is the best in the entire area and has written many books.
