My mom's 72nd birthday is tomorrow and we are taking her to a restaurant. Does anyone know any good ones. We are tired of the same chain restaurants. Thanks!

Italian - Allegria Cafe on Oakfield is good but average entree is about $17. The Latin Grill on John Moore is also good and priced less as well as La Septima on Kings and Lumsden.

I'm a bit of a sushiholic and I have tried most places around here. Yokohama Sushi in Brandon is the best around in my opinion, it is hands down the freshest and best tasting...and the owners are Fishhawk residents.

Honestly, all of the above are great options. I also LOVE Koizi on Causeway beside Publix. It is all made to order but you can continously reorder for the same cost. Basically all you can eat, but not buffet style, everything is made to order & fresh!!! Great experience!!!

Pacific Grille is my favorite. The seafood curry there is also amazing
Anyone have any suggestions on restaurants or must-dos in St Augustine?

Casa Maya and the Tasting Room (call for reservations). These are two restaurant s that you will not be disappointed. The Floridian for lunch and definitely The Bunnery Bakery and Cafe for breakfast or lunch. And late night coffee, Crucial Coffee acr oss from the fort. The alligator farm is awesome, seems cheesy and expensive, but hundreds of alligators at feeding time is incredible. The beaches at Anastasia Island are a must for a beach. Pick a bed and breakfast in the historic district. The Bay front Marin House (kids and pets!) is incredible. The Inn on Charlotte is perfect. Can't wait to go back, miss that place. Loved it so much, we got married there!

One of our absolute favorite places. We LOVE the drive on beach, Our favorite place to eat is Harry's Seafood and Conch House Restaurant. If you go for dinner at the Conch house be sure to get a Teki hut So you can sit out on the water and watch the sunset. Castillo De Sanmarco is great too. Walking around to all the shops. There is so much to do.
