Ghirabaldis(sp). One of my favorites. Expensive. Most places are tourist traps on the river. The Cotton Exchange is one of the good ones on the river though, good seafood. Vinny Van Go Go's pizza is very good but cash only. The Pink House is a MUST but expensive also. Ms Wilkes for lunch is also a MUST! It is family style buffet and usually a wait but completely worth the wait. Cash only as well. If I had to choose I would do Pink House for dinner and Ms Wilkes for lunch.

Goose Feather's Bakery was super good for breakfast. Travel Channel just visited them a couple weeks ago.

Ditto everything Nathan said. Garibaldi's is great for a special occasion. We went there often. Vinnie's pizza is amazing! Olde Pink House has great atmosphere and the BLT salad is to die for. Mrs. Wilkes is my favorite place ever. Only open for lunch on weekdays. Get there early as there WILL be a line.

If you go to the Olde Pink House ( which I highly recommend!) check out the bar downstairs too. It's got the coolest atmosphere and great drinks. Also try Vic's on the River. The Mac and Cheese is the best ever smile emoticon

Wilke's is a must hit, line up early. Pink House is great we treat it as a small plates meal. Get lots and share. I had an epic New Years Eve dinner at 45 Bistro, I look forward to many more meals there. Vic's seems to be a favorite of locals persona lly think there are better meals to be had. Leipold's ice cream is an institution that shouldn't be missed. Crystal Beer Palace is a fun casual spot that is adored by the locals. The Distillery is the absolute best spot for beers and drinks with a good bar food menu. Savannah is another one of my favorite cities. Tons of food, culture, history, and real southern charm.
