I tried to use Danas this December for an "afternoon" appointment, after noon. At 5:45 pm, the guy was STILL at his last job. I called them later +the guys battery died so still not here) they said afternoon was until they are done. I'm done by 6....so I asked if I could reschedule with a planned time and she got all pissy and said "We don't do that." He did come out a few days later for a morning appointment and dealt with my husband (I was over it). Of course something was wrong and we got signed up for some crap or another... I used to use Danas at my other house in Pierce County and never had a problem. Won't ever use them here again. In fact, for my other house out here, I called Advantage Heating and they knocked my socks off they were so wonderful!

Richard is a Navy Vet, honest, hard working guy who won't give you a ballpark figure, He gives you all the figures up front, no guess work. Richard has been in the HVAC business for about 12 years. We've been very happy with Dana's Heating & Cooling as well. We've used them several times over the past 12 years. We asked them to come for an estimate on a new furnace or heat pump and Tim Powell in sales actually recommended we keep our existing furnace, and recommended against a heat pump due to the layout of our house. It would have been a very expensive unit to install but wouldn't be effective or efficient for us. So Tim left without a sale even when we thought we were ready to buy!!

I don't know if Dana's heating takes payments, but we've used them previously and were happy with the service. I'd highly recommend staying away from Hood Canal Heating & Cooling, however.
