I've used Cloise and Mike as well as my father-in-law. No issues so far. Not sure how competetive they are. Our roofs were done a few years ago and don't have copies of the other bids that we received. They did entire roof replacement for both of our properties.

We used Patriot Roofing and loved them. Good, honest company, and they did our roof and some other work we had done all in one day. Crew was courteous, quiet, and made sure everything was clean before they left. Even brought their own porta pottie out. Mike, the estimator did a thorough job inspecting and explaining all the different roofing and finance options. Steve, the owner, came out and did final inspection at end of job. Highly recommend.

Porch.com is a Seattle based company that is very much like Angies List, but is free. You can look at local contractors, see reviews, pictures of their work, etc. And to answer your question, you could go with a general contractor for the other repairs. I don't know anyone that specifically does insulation, but I do know of Drywall Express. I can't vouch for their work, but I know the owner, Wes, and believe him to be a very upstanding person.
