Looking for a personal trainer for my son (12/yo) who is sporty, but also recovering from an injury. Any recommendations?

Scott Fishkind. He is awesome--patient, encouraging, and he has all the credentials too! Highly recommend

Jeff- MPOWER in Cool Springs has 5 personal trainers- all used to working with middle school, high school athletes all the way through professional athletes and we have physical therapists in the facility so your son's trainer can talk to the PT's about his injury and what guidelines they should follow if they are questioning anything about his injury. And cool, vibrant atmosphere...

We go to Franklin Strength in Cool Springs. They have a trainer named Brock Stewart who works with youth. Not sure about the injury part but you could give them a call.661-5709
I need a good book for the beach. Recommendations?

Since you're already hip to the Deanna Raybourn groove, here's a different recommendation--I'll Be Seeing you by Suzanne Palmieri and Loretta Nyhan. You won't want to put it down. http://www.amazon.com/.../dp/0778314952/ref=sr_1_4...
Any recommendations for a personal trainer close by..?
Ashleigh H. replied:
Hi Amy! I would 100% recommend Bob Savin at Fitness Together in Ashland. I've worked with probably 7 trainers throughout my life, and Bob and his staff at FT are top-notch. They are all trained in Functional Movement Systems, so when you first come in they look at how you move through basic patterns, or how well you don't! From there, they create a strength training program based on your needs and your goals and your abilities. They offer cardio machines, small group classes, and an in-house massage therapist (ME!!!). I work here, I send myself and my clients to Bob, and I would absolutely recommend him for anyone. http://fitnesstogether.com/metrowest

Also try Andrew Reddington from Absolute Fitness. He trains out of the Metrowest Sportscenter. I joined his morning bootcamp about a year ago and it has been great. He also does one-on-one sessions.http://www.mwsportscenter.com/page/show/1611886-absolute-fitness
