Head to Tail Groomers on Old Stratfield Road in Fairfield. Quynh is very caring, sweet, and does an amazing job. My dog is nervous around new people and even the mention on Quynh’s name makes her so happy. Very highly recommended!

Ruff Cutz in Fairfield near stop n shop on Villa Ave. My dog is petrified of having her paws touched and they always manage to work with her for nail trims. My dog also doesn't like water and they do well with her with baths. They have parking which Barking Lot really doesn't (where you're walking out on to Brewster with tons of cars whizzing by) and I've always found them easier to schedule with than Barking Lot who doesn't get back to you quickly.

I would suggest a mobile groomer then, one that comes to the house so the dog doesn't have to be there any longer than absolutely needed. Dirty Rascal's Mobile Grooming is a good one.
