Brave Gentleman probably has the best quality men's vegan shoes. It's expensive but none of the others even seem to come close to them. The 'leather' always seems really tacky with other brands. With Chelsea Boots you're unlikely to get anything great. I have a pair from BG but it's not a whole-cut boot so it doesn't look like it really 'should'. I still quite like it though and people compliment them.

How about branching out beyond the Action Bronson stuff? Cornelissen sort of sucks compared to the hype, if you can buy from the shops listed you can do so much better. I just took a look at the Discovery and Chambers St sites and you could have a fucking field day just going with a singular region like Loire - tons of natural wine legends represented on those sites. From what I saw I'd put together maybe the Robinot fetembulles (Discovery) to Robinot's Charme 2015 (Discovery) and then optional, Robinot Bistrology 2015 (Discovery), a Sebastien Riffault from Discovery like Auksenis, then go to that baby Guiberteau Rouge at Discovery, optional to throw in a classic red like Courtois' Racines, then finish the flight with the Didier Chafferdon Confiturine from Chambers St. Would be a pretty wild ride, get a few people together for that or just drink a glass each and cork the bottle and come back to them a couple weeks later for a similar but different ride.

WINESHOP in the East Village is a great little place to go to learn, too. Often have stuff open for tasting, selection is small and skews a little more expensive, but the shop is run by a couple really knowledgeable folks and you get to talk to them, not their shop clerks.

I highly recommend Vegetarian shoes (https://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/) if you're looking for quality, durable boots. They have vegan leather and suede boots, manufactured in the UK or Europe depending on the style. If you're in Canada you get free shipping from Nice Shoes (https://www.niceshoes.ca/) for orders over $100 (easy to do with boots!), and they are great for customer service and returns.

The huge sports store on North Street has loads of non-leather shoes and boots but of course it's not a vegan only shop. Then again in the eye wateringly expensive veggie shoe shops you're never going to get a pair of good looking, comfy, heavy duty canvas para-boots in the sale for £12, as I just did. Yes there may or may not be ethical considerations with these boots, as there is with most shops and the money we spend in them (which all goes back to the banks) but I don't see the ethics in charging 100 quid upwards for yummy mummy trainers either. Charity shops are always worth a look by way of avoiding the production process through recycling.
