Recommend a tradie for renovations? Hey everyone, I am renovating the downstairs of my house to turn it into a granny flat.
At the moment I am looking for a kitchen...

I used a guy from the Northside - Brad Gotze. PM me for his number. He's really old school, turns up in a Ford Courier ute (~1985) and clapped out Dunlop Volleys, not big flashy bogan wheels or bullshit attitude...Tells it like it is. Did a car port for me, came to me from a school P&C referral where he had done a lot of indoor and outdoor work. Referral family are frickin pedantic so I figured he's got to do a good job if he impressed them! Work quality for us was exceptional. Serious attention to detail. We made a minor scope change to the project and he balanced the total project cost very honestly.

Good luck, as I've recently found out, good tradesmen are hard to find and you'll only know when you have a bad one when it's too late. What part of Brisbane are you in?

Tim Flynn. 0418 656 901Tim Flynn Construction PTY LTD. QBCC 150 256 96 info@timflynncontructions.com.auwww.timflynnconstructions.com.au This chap did a couple of bits of renovation for us. Importantly, he's proud of his work... When some new tiling grey grout didn't match the old tiles grey grout (a challenge), he removed the new grout and did it a second time! Problem with the plaster subcontractor? He comes back and sorts that out. He wanted us to be 100% happy, and I'm a tough customer. Good work, and you will be happy with the result, I assure you. We were in samford, down the road from you.
