I only have experience of Galen Massage Therapists as they are who I trained with. The qualification obtained with Galen is a Canine Myotherapy Diploma. I think the best way to make sure any massage therapist is competent is to ask them who they trained with (to make sure they are actually qualified), if they are fully insured and then see if they request consent from your vets. Anyone that treats a dog without consent from a vet is breaking the law and it also voids any insurance they may have had. Hope that helps a bit:)
