Have you thought about seeing Dr. Tinkle at Lutheran General? That's who my daughter see' s, and he is great with referring you to a Dr. that has knowledge of EDS, and he also prescribes all my daughter's meds.

If you can't find anyone in Illinois if u willing to travel a bit Wisconsin froedtert hospital in Milwaukee has very good ortho surgeons ive had both hips replaced from the EDS caused the ball of each hip went through the socket. Dr. Ninomya ortho surgeons

I go to Dr Max Harris (rheumatologist)@West Suburban in Oak Park. I do not have the dx of EDS but he did say that I have a congenital hypermobility syndrome. Dr Harris will not do the genetic testing though. He takes his time and really listens.
