The Boulder Service Course. These guys are the Pros mechanics. Last week they tuned up my bike and turned it around in 2 days. Plus I met Greg and Laura Bennett as they were also getting a tune up. These guys are in Boulder (not Denver) but if you need a quick fix, make the quick trip up.
Best car repair in Boulder? Hey guys, so I goofed today... [Oh the shame](http://imgur.com/RrqKwSU.jpg) and destroyed my bumper and headlight. Do you have any...

I have used ABC Autobody and would use them for this sort of repair. No harm in going there and getting a free estimate. Get some fresh baked cookies while you are at it. They also provide lifetime warranty on any repairs they do. If this was self inflicted and you're not going through insurance, it may not be the cheapest option out there but the work they've done on 3 of my cars and across 4 of my friends- has been solid. Typically, the words "car repair" refer to Mechanical Services that cover mechanical failures, breakdowns, and other wear or maintenance items related to an intact vehicle. What you need is a collision or body repair shop, and I hope that you garner replies in this thread with that aim. Standard replies about typical mechanics are not going to be effective, even though that is what you have inadvertently ask for. Just commenting here so that other posters make sure to look at the thumbnail, and reply accordingly.

I've been to Pete's garage on walnut a few times. Both were more mechanical related but I think they may do body work also.

I've been going to Chan's off and on for over a decade. They're some of the kindest and most honest people I've ever met and genuinely have saved me a lot of money and grief with their honesty. If they don't do body work, they'd probably recommend someone who does. They're also really cool about you getting your own parts and bringing them in so you don't have to spend more for them to find the parts. Seriously good people.

Note that most of the good body shops are busy following last months hail in Denver; don't be surprised if you have to wait. Recommended: Coal Creek Collision (Louisville), Colorado Coach (Boulder), SVE AutoBody (Broomfield) Not recommended: Boulder Bump Shop (Boulder), Boulder Auto (Boulder)
BravoTwoSix replied:
I have used European Autobody who is now https://calibercollision.com/ I guess it is the same guys.
theFunkiestButtLovin replied:
Definitely stay away from the Boulder bump shop. I'll link the story later. But trust me. Stay far away. Most dishonest business I have ever run across.

Joel Demby over at Mag-Co on Midway just past Wadsworth did some honest work with my transmission work about a year ago. I'd go back to him with my transmission in a heartbeat.

Mike Tourney is very handy. You could ask him. I know he did some work on Joni's van recently.

Our minivan just had the transmission rebuilt at Detroit Transmission Specialists in Arvada. Very fair. They are who the City of Westminster uses too. Best of luck. Transmission stuff sucks, and the minivans seem to have more than their fair share.

I have had several great experiences with Broomfield Auto. At least once they had the opportunity to over charge me and didn't. I wouldn't have even realized it until way after the fact.
