Dr Summers in Boulder. Highly recommended. Very honest and conservative in treatment plan ( not suggesting and pushing for patients to have more work than necessary).

I like Dr Jamie White.

This is a joke, right? If not these corporate dentists give Dentistry a bad name! If you need a reputable dentist ask for referrals here! Dr Pinkner in Longmont is honest n his prices are competitive AND he takes insurance!

Girdon West DDS!
Christine Z. replied:
$1200 is normal ballpark for a post and crown, so don't feel too taken by the monetary amount. Root canal would add to that. In the future, get a written quote before any work is started. You want to ensure that you know the price as well as the number of return visits to get the job done. Dr. Tracey Hughes in Louisville is great. Honest and conservative with her dentistry style -- conservative in that she doesn't take more out of tooth than is absolutely necessary. https://www.bouldervalleydental.com/louisville-dentist-office/tracey-hughes-dds/

I would recommend Dr Shore on South Boulder Rd. And on a side note, I've had horribly experiences with "corporate dentists" those that are chains with cute kitchy names? As they have quotas and will tell you that you need something that you do not. I had to change dentists a while back because of an insurance change, went to a corporate dentist and after a while (I think I was going there about a year) i was told I would need a crown, or possibly even a root canal. When I learned that my minimal insurance would not cover that, I switched insurance so I could afford it and then decided to go back to my original dentist. When I went in I told him what I was told and he looked and said nope, I didn't need a crown or a root canal, all was fine with that tooth! I will never go back to a corporate dentist no matter what... I don't need someone doing work on me to fulfill a quota imposed on them by a CEO somewhere.

I workout with the owner of Christian Brothers and he said part of the reason they are less expensive than others (other than morals) is that they have all new state of the art equipment that makes the job not take as long. Good Luck, which ever way you decide!!

I always go to Berthoud (I know it's far) for bigger repairs. Bill owns the shop, he specializes in Subarus and is honest, conservative and totally NOT in it to rip you off. Call him and ask for a quick quote. (970) 532-1616
Shari W. replied:
Very recently we tried out the new Christian Brothers repair on SBR and 287. They did a heating system flush to try to avoid replacing our heater core (Jeep). Another shop quoted us $80 for the flush, and Christian Brothers did it for $50. They also shuttled me to my home and then came back to pick me up when the car was done. I have no complaints and would use them again, especially with the price for what they did.

We really love Louisville Tire and Auto. To date, they could have charged us thousands extra in repairs (some other shops misdiagnosed), but have always been incredibly honest.
