Thanks Fu, they have been traveling the world longer than I've been alive and speak serviceable Spanish but I was concerned with them driving-in-circles in Guatemala City as I know Central American cities are normally chaotic to say the least. I'm finding them a shuttle service, although the hotel we are booked into offers one as well, just want to get them the best option.

I don't remember the names of the shuttle services. The owner (at the time) of Paco Real Hoste & Restaurant in San Marcos La Laguna set it all up for us. His name is Paul. It was a company he used and trusted. It is my understanding that Paul was handing Paco Real over to another owner to open another place, still in San Marco La Laguna. All I have is the old contact email for Paco Real (info@hotelpacoreal.com), but maybe they have the shuttle service name or they might be able to put you in touch with Paul who could help probably still help out.
