I saw Laura's original post and made my recommendation on her wall, but thought I would post here, as well. I suggested La Patisserie, the retail bakery shop that is a part of the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute (NCCC). It moved into the old Rainbow Mall. Ha. I've been there a few times when visiting & had some lovely treats. For a menu and hours (may want to call ahead of time since it is part of a school): http://www.nfculinary.org/restaurants-and-retail.php Plus you can stroll over to the Falls or the casino, after.

Ohlsen's on Main Street in Clarence... same deal with the one year anniversary cake, they did a fantastic job and were very reasonably priced.

My wife and I had our wedding cake done by Sweet Beginnings bakery. They were about middle of the pack in terms of pricing compared to the other bakeries we looked at, but they were the first bakery to really wow me on taste. I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin and cream cheese sample they gave us. Perfect if you are looking at a fall wedding.

If you want something different, we did a 4 tier Irish cream cheesecake wedding cake from Just Say Cheesecake on Sheridan. It was amazing (taste and appearance!)!
