Long shot: Does anyone know of a good DID/Trauma therapist in the Seattle area? I am in a bad way right now and I am reconsidering therapy. I've been dropped by so many...

No but I really hope you find one. I want to live in Seattle so freaking badly, but if there was an actual specialist up there I couldn't convince myself to stay.

disclaimer: am not in the seattle area, haven't had therapy with this guy, just did some googling https://www.stevehammil.com/trauma/ seems like a good fit if you're looking for a specialist in trauma. good luck whatever you decide to do!

[Here's](https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists/dissociative-disorders/wa/seattle) a starting place for you. You can search on the left-hand bar by insurance. Also [here](https://netforum.avectra.com/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?Site=ISSTD&WebCode=IndSearch). Search by WA and USA, zip code doesn't seem to give good results.

I live outside Seattle proper, I go to Burrien Center for Health and Wellbeing. www.buriencenterforhealthandwellbeing.com They have been a huge help and have a lot of experience with trauma and people with Parts. Also offer psychiatry and take private insurance. Sound Mental Health is another good clinic I know of, near Capitol Hill in Seattle proper, but I think they have another location in Seattle as well. They're only accepting medicaid patients right now though. http://www.sound.health Good luck, I hope you find someone to help! -James
So i officially hate my doctor! Called them yesterday and they put in an urgent response for him to return my call and they were supposed to call me back. Called today...

I understand your frustration, Tove. Urgent health clinics and the ER are available for emergencies, and if you need a ride or a sitter, for any reason, just call me at 206-265-0384. I'm just 10 minutes away. I still live in the same hood, girl.
