I have a spoiled little Maltese that gets anxiety when going to the groomer...I use Pet Wow on US 42 and have been very pleased every time. They are respectful of the fact he is afraid and are quick to get him through it and do a great job. They offer vet services, but I only use grooming.
Cindy Y. replied:
I use Florence Veterinary Hospital- 371-6501, and have been super happy with the staff and Dr. Davis. For grooming, Kae-9 by Design-801-5929. Mikaela is great! And she comes to you, so you don't even have to leave your house!

Hebron Clinic and Gentle Touch grooming on Mall Rd.
I have used quite a few different vets in KY and Ohio for the animals I foster for several different Rescues. There is indeed a price difference but for real emergencies, surgeries and overall cadillac treatment, Hebron Animal Hospital is where we take our four legged family members.

Dr Huesing is awesome! He has met us at his office on a Sunday before to take care of one of our pups. And our family has used him for over 20 yrs also. Very fair and very caring!
Cindy N. replied:
We go to Pawsitively Purfect on 18 next to Fazoli's for grooming. They have separate areas for cats and dogs so it's not so stressful
What veterinarians would ya'll recommend? I'm in the Burlington area. Just inherited my grandmothers 2 dogs, both need to be updated on their shots, and one has an issue...

Dr Hale at Hebron Animal Hospital is the best! My dogs looooooove him. He gets down on the floor for exams and they have no idea he's not just playing with them. Great prices, and they are very judicious in ordering tests.
Amy S. replied:
Dr. Davis Florence Animal Hospital
Erika F. replied:
I go to Walton vet but that may be farther than u want to drive. Dr Meiman is great and honest!
Barb C. replied:
Not Noah's Ark, daughter used to work there. Notice I said "used to," quit because of performing unnecessary treatments. Stay away from Banfield also, they try to trick you into one of their pet wellness plans, and that's all it covers wellness. Charged my friend $800 for a pet that died before the money got cold. Is there really a good vet out there??? I'm beginning to think not. Daughter is/was a vet tech so her referrals are to Cincinnati House Vets for House Pets (Dr. Amber Hickson) and 1 from Bellevue, KY Riverview Animal Hospital. Good Luck, I take my cats to Riverview Animal Hospital.
Sandra C. replied:
Dr. Middendorf and Dr. LeRoy at Middendorf Animal Hospital on Berberich drive in Florence are wonderful. Been going to them for 12 years.
Need some help if possible. Our cat ate something bad or is somehow sick and not leaving the litter box . Can any recommend a vet that may be open or is located here in...
Jamie M. replied:
Ft Wright Pet Care (noahs) is wonderful. They will refer you to wilder er care after hours. Hope all is okay.

Banfield? Emergency vet in Wilder? Does not sound like it can wait! Post on the Stray Animal Adoption Program Facebook page. They usually know resources also.

Jamie M. replied:
My black lab just went through major surgery with (Noahs) ft Wright pet care. They were wonderful. The wait can be a bit long at times depending when you go, first thing in the morning is best. We were in the care of Dr.Mcglasson and Dr Lee. They were great. Love Dr Liga too. Can't go wrong with any of those. They saved my doggies life. Glad to hear yours is going better.
Does anymore know of a good vet in the Boone county area that is reasonably priced? I need to get Angels claws removed in the front and make she is up to date on shots.
Traci W. replied:
Dr. Middendorf. He is off of Mt Zion rd. Have been using him for about 12 years. They are really good.
I suggest you take a moment to locate an emergency/after hours Vet. and add them to your contacts in your phone. You never know when you may need to locate and/or call...
A mechanic hearing you haven't had an oil change in 6 months is probably like a vet hearing your dog hasn't had a heartworm test in 6 years ... Right, Adam?
