HELP finding an optometrist for something lodged in eye
UPDATE: Thank you everyone for suggestions. Found a place open for emergency situations. Thanks...

Assuming you checked for emergency numbers or after hours numbers for those optometrists you tried, I think you'll have to call health link on this one. Or go to an urgent care. Maybe they can refer her to someone. Somewhere there are ophthalmologists or optometrists working, at least on call. Good luck! And update us what channels you took or what you were told to do.

https://www.optometrists.ab.ca/WEB/AAO/Patients/Find_An_Optometrist/AAO/Patients/Find_An_Optometrist.aspx The Association website lists all practices open for urgent care. Call before you go to ensure there is a doctor on site. PLEASE don’t go to the Rockyview or urgent care, they often aren’t the best equipped/trained for eye care and it risks exposing you to further risk.

There is an emergency eye clinic at Rockyview Hospital. Get her family doctor to refer her over there.
