Butler Veterinary Associates and Emergency is hands down the best with my pits. I've been to Saxony Animal Clinic and they wanted to put my pits under for routine appointments just because they are pits. I've also tried a few other vets in the area and was unimpressed. Butler Veterinary Associates is the only place I'll take mine to now.
Janet E. replied:
Orchard Creek Veterinary Hospital in Grove City. Dr. Parris is great.
Tammy S. replied:

Dr. Hufnagel is my pitties vet. I love him! He is on Perry Hwy (Route 19) in Harmony. He has done amazing things for animals! He once used his own dog as a blood donor for a transfusion to save the life of a dog that was poisoned. He did laser therapy on my pittie and saved him from having surgery and he is better now than he was before he got injured! http://www.hufnagelvetclinic.com/Hufnagel_VET_CLINIC/HOME.html

We've been here for 2 years and struggled to find a vet we loved. We make the trip over to Beaver Animal Clinic and go to see Dr. Rhinehart. Well worth the drive over. Moraine Grove is ok in Butler - Dr Love.
Candice B. replied:
I honestly take my lil girlie up to Franklin Animal Clinic. I have taken all my animals (birds, rabbits, ferrets, and can take even my bearded dragon up if needed) for the past 10 yrs. Love them! Great with Roxxi who's a rescue pit bull. Good luck!
Melinda N. replied:
Dr. Janine callen of Twinbrook animal clinic is a wonderful vet to my animals & i think she even owns a bully breed. It's south of butler but it's a wonderful clinic!

Try spay and neuter clinic in Penn hills. 65 is a good price but I think for cats they are cheaper. That's always where I've taken my animals they do a wonderful job and my babies are back to themselves almost right when they get picked up 4122241202

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced veterinarian?
Glenn M. replied:
We've always found Lombardo, Animal Clinic of Butler, by the Farm Show grounds the most reasonable and he's always done well by us.
Margie C. replied:
I thought you used Dr. Love across from us?
Nancy M. replied:
Do not use Butler Veterinary Assoc. on rt. 8. They charge way too much. and try to get you to spend as much as possible.
Glenn M. replied:
Nancy Lynn Rumbaugh Mueller, we've used them 2 times and went back to Lombardo. They told us on 8 that the kennel cough immunization had 2 b given in 2 inhaled doses.... lots of extra $$$$. We've gotten it for years as one shot and with regular immunizations and appointment costs that didn't amount to what their office call did.
