Jul Lia Does your puppy have an iv canula in his leg?? Did he get fluids into an iv canula? Please can you answer this so we can help you and your puppy. We are surprised the vet did not keep your puppy at the clinic and said to go 2 times per day, normally it is more times needed for the fluid! Did the puppy go to DR Farouk or the vet who gave him the vaccines? If the puppy had fluid put under the skin and will go again tonight for fluid under the skin he will die, it is not enough he needs iv in the vein. Dr farouk closes at 2 pm.

I love I-Vet clinic. Grandpa (my cat) was neutered there a few months back. Dr. Shehata is pretty awesome . Thank you May AbdelRazik... that's good to know. I'm wary of the medications.

Dr. Shehata is a very nice person, loves animals and truly cares, but to be honest he's not great when it comes to diagnosis. I mean he asks and listens, and I really like him and would recommend him. But he couldn't properly diagnose my dog, and unfortunately I wrongly medicated my dog due to his diagnosis and he could't see that it is no longer working and that a change of plan was needed. I had to look for another vet and it was Dr. Aziz that finally got me a proper diagnosis. At the end I treat my dog, but a medical diagnosis is very helpful, because dogs do not speak, so I really need someone with a medical background to take all my observations / symptoms and properly organize them into a diagnosis, then I can treat her.

I have try Dr. Shehata in Maadi for spaying in which he is great. Dr. Aziz is closer to me and I have use him for vacinations. This week I have use Dr. Mohamed Ayman for a rescued kitten and he is really good, probably the best. He keeps some rescued animals as it is actually an animal hospital. Its name is Petz&Vetz and it's located in Omar Park El Golf Nasr City.

He was given fluids, vitamins and an antibiotic for the shock. The doctor doesn't think he has any internal injuries. I just have to keep an eye on him, make sure he stays hydrated with honey water. He's resting in one of his favorite places now. Side note, I had a good experience with Modern Vet Clinic, Dr. Aziz as well as his staff. I was truly surprised when my call was answered and the prompt care given to Grandpa.

Call Dr. Aziz and ask for home visit. Tell him you don't have a car. Don't just go to any vet because most vets in Egypt are horrible. Badly qualified and no moral values whatsoever.

DO NOT DECLAW the cats. IF they escape for any reason, they will have no protection and unless you can Guarantee a home and safety for the rest of their lives (15+ years) it is inhumane to leave them without their claws. Also the operation is EXTREMELY painful to the cats, and in many countries it's been outlawed as Inhumane. Declawing traditionally involves the amputation of the last bone of each toe. If performed on a human being, it would be like cutting off each finger at the last knuckle. Declawing is never recommended. Cats turn aggressive as they feel defenceless. Spaying is a good choice, Dr Nevine in mohandessin (near Syria street) is trustworthy and professional. Good luck:)
