Thanks Roger Buzbee . For future prevention I have used Moth Balls and they just dig past them and ignore them. I have used Fox Urine (a natural predator) and it did not act as a deterrent. And I have tried a few other remedies, but none have been long term deterrents. I appreciate the advice.

Alexandra Deoni, we have captured the skunks, in a humane way, and relocated them 50Km or more away from here. We have done this over 40 times. Because we live close to the Tsuu Tina nation reserve, more skunks find their way to our house. we are told that the 'scent' they leave behind attracts other skunks for up to 5 years. So the solution is not to just relocate them, but to eliminate the possibility they can get back under our sunroom again. That is where the contractor, etc. comes in, but they have promised to act and never done it...8 years of asking for help has resulted in no action. Another option for relocation is to relocate ourselves and move to a different house...but that will cost us more than $5G.
