Its not in Calgary but in Spruce Grove, AB. The Spruce Grove Vet Clinic, is owned by DR Stretch and he does get things with knees. He did both my females knees. I recommend him to every bully or other breed owner who has knee or leg issues.

we use the Cochrane Veterinary Clinic for our boy Jake because they came highly recommended by several folks at the Cochrane & Area Humane Society and because Jake felt immediately at ease with Dr. Niwa. We have seen Dr. Niwa for the regular yearly visits and on a few other occasions when needed. Dr. Lynn Gratz at Castleridge is amazing - very caring & want you to be lifelong clients, so no huge charges & unnecessary tests, etc. Always easy to get an appointment & other dr's at the clinic are equally great.

If you're looking for an absolutely great vet even though it is not in the north, I suggest checking out Alpine Animal Hospital beside PetSmart on McLeod Trail. I've been going for years. I use to go to a vet hospital on 17 th Ave SW but their prices were sky high and they never really seemed interested. Alpine Hospital has great prices where they won't break the bank. Good luck on finding a great vet. Hope this has helped.

I've taken my dogs to Castleridge Vet for years. The owner, Dr. Jesmer is beyond amazing. My cousin also worked there as a vet for a while until she moved to Sask. I'd highly recommend them.

Children Hospital is your best bet. we had the similar thing happened at the Symons Valley NW clinic where doctor prescribed the antibiotic to my 12 months old daughter (she had fever for few days) as Dr. thought that she had an ear infection. Antibiotic had some sort of reaction so we got worried and ended up taking her to children hospital the same night where doctors were surprised to see that antibiotic was prescribed, also they did not find any ear infection at all and told us not to give her the prescribed medicine other than Tylenol.
