We've just learned that we're moving to Calgary at the beginning of summer, and while I'm looking...

I think theres actually a couple different places in Calgary adn the surrounding area. I've seen commercials for [Calgary Speech Therapy](http://www.calgaryspeechtherapy.com) but I don't know much about them. I think if you call the [Alberta Health Services](http://www.albertahealthservices.ca/3606.asp) they could probably direct you to a speech therapist or maybe someone who would know for sure. Have you tried asking your current therapist? Seems like the kind of thing that they could help you out on? Good luck.

Check out Providence (providencechildren.com). They have a lot of good services in speech therapy, and throughout the city, too.

I used to work for the charity Autism Calgary, if your child has ASD or if you're just looking for info give them a call. (403)-250-5033, their office hours are 10:30-5 pm TWT. They have lots of resource information and should be able to point you in the right direction. Sorry I can't remember any of the different speech therapists.

Early welcome to Calgary! If your child has a disability, you may be able to get funding to cover speech therapy! If you look into FSCD (family support for children with disabilities), it is a government funded program to assist with therapies that families may need if their child has a disability. And if not, then good luck anyway with setting up speech therapy here! I have worked with some wonderful speech therapists and I'm sure you'll find a good fit.
Any recommendations for a speech therapist who is very good in working with stroke patients. Please let me know in Calgary. Does anyone know of an Occupational therapist...
