Does anyone know any electricians that are available quicker than 2 weeks out and don't cost an arm and a leg. A friend that I work with has lost power in the back...

Rite way electric. I'm not sure if they go to Wilsonville though. But they are great. Northside electric is good too. I found both on Angie's List.

I'm looking for an electrician. At my church, we have a few projects, big, medium, and small that we just can't do ourselves. Recommendations?
Jennifer L. replied:
Dave Quintana, owner of Western Superior Electric. He is the most honest, trustworthy & talented electrician I know. He has helped many of my clients at very reasonable prices. And he's local! He does a lot of commercial electrical work (Including the new OC Wild Hare). (503) 805-6873Dave@WesternSuperiorElectric.com

Hey has anyone had a guy named Freddy come by asking to replace all the light bulbs in your house for FREE? He says he is with Canby Utility but it seems weird.
Barb B. replied:
I work for Canby Utility. The only time someone will come out and offer to replace the light bulbs in your house is if you call us to schedule our energy conservation contractor to come do an energy audit. They will replace bulbs and shower heads as part of the energy efficiency program, but it is scheduled in advance. Melissa Wardwell Correction: They are doing cold calls from referrals. They will have ESG name tags, photo ID and Canby Utility business cards
Lisa L. replied:
He did STATE he was NOT with Canby Utility, but is with Energy Efficiency Group.
Perry C. replied:
Ask for Identification or a contractors Licence. After that get a card and set up an appointment. Contact Canby to see if he is one of their contractors, if not contact the State! If he doesn't have any of the above set up a meet but have Canby PD on stand by first. He just might be casing houses for a burglery!!!!
