Good morning! Does anyone know of a good, reputable jeweler? I need to have my grandmother's ring resized for my finger and want to go somewhere trustworthy and great at...
Aaryn P. replied:
I've worked for the Sterling Corp for 20+ years, I'd highly recommend Jared's. Their goldsmiths are on staff and at the stores which means your precious piece isn't being mailed to an off sight location and most repairs are done in two hours.

Crown Jewelers in Clackamas do really great work!

Pipers Jewelry in Woodurn! Charlie Piper, the owner, has been in the business for 30+ years. His father, Harley, owned the business before him. He made a custom ring for me and my mom has gone to him for years. Very trustworthy and excellent work!

Larogs Inn on Greenburg Road is the only place I would go
Holly M. replied:
Smith & Beville in Beaverton. They redesigned my ring with my grandmothers ring and have made custom rings for my parents too. The owner is in there often and they are fabulous.:)

Pipers Jewelry in Woodburn is great. My grandma takes hers there

Is there a Jewelry store in Canby other than Fred Meyer's?
Aaryn P. replied:
Susan, I would highly recommend driving to Clackamas. Jared's has in house goldsmiths who will repair your necklace in under two hours. I have worked for Sterling Jewelers for 20 years and Dave (the shop manager) is an amazing goldsmith, his team is the best. And your piece isn't gone for days, shipped in the mail....

Looking for a recommendation for a jeweler who can repair a broken gold wedding band that was my mom's. Any suggestions?
Paul E. replied:
When my wedding band broke, I took it as a sign my wife had been unfaithful and immediately divorced her. But, if you have jewelry that needs fixing, Fred Meyer does a pretty good job at a decent price.
