Hi! Any suggestions for places to eat in the Bay Area? Will be staying in San Ramon and spending a lot of time in San Francisco. But will travel for delicious GF/V food!!

Hello! We have heard good things about Enjoy Vegetarian for vegan food, although I'm not sure if they have a specific gluten-free menu. However, when we are traveling and unsure, we just grab some Tamari packets to take with us places and ask for the dishes without soy sauce.:) http://enjoyvegetarian.net/menu/

They also have Loving Hut there which is always a good, quick stop if you are running around town: http://lovinghut.us/sanfrancisco_03/index.html They are 100% vegan and should have a gluten-free menu, or will be able to tell you what is gluten-free. This place looks great, although we've never tried it ourselves: http://www.picapica.com/nutrition/

Is there any healthy restaurants? Like in Naples there were vegan and paleo bakeries and a vegan restaurant

Chef Brooke's Cafe http://chefbrookeonline.com/ in Ft. Myers; Green Cup Cafe in downtown Ft. Myers; Living Vine Organic Cafe in Ft. Myers; Pizza Fusion in Ft. Myers has options; Ada's Deli & Market in Ft. Myers; Big Blue Brewing in Cape Coral; Cafe You in Cape Coral & Hana Sushi in Cape Coral have some options; Little Lilly's Deli on Pine Island also has a few options - just be clear as to what you want left off [dairy, eggs, etc] and all will accommodate. Best of luck!

Last fall, Ricky and I ate at Nomiki Plakka in Ft Myers on McGregor next to Pizza Fusion. It is owned by a Greek family. We had excellent meals there.

Oakley Riggs could not agree more. many times have been given recommendations for restaurants that ended up being dissapointments. Everyone has different taste and im sure many of the restaurants i love are not to everyone's liking either. no harm no foul. Thats part of the fun of trying new places.
