Sounds like I'm on track so far lol I'm in san jose at the moment we are trying to find a place in the area maybe a bit more north or south. Kathy I would love those links thank you! I also joined abcmouse.com but it's hard for them to focus on that when one isn't super busy or sleeping

http://weefolkart.com/content/homeschool-companion-guides If you're interested in Waldorf, I haven't used it, but this is free and looks really good. For preschool/K. Lots of reading, art, and baking ideas. :)
My favorite compilation of advice from veteran HS moms about preschoolers is here... http://www.redshift.com/~bonajo/early.htm I especially agree with Paula's advice about what else you should be doing (instead of academics) during the preschool years.

Alicia Bayer she says on the site that they need a good attention span for the Bible? erm...
Alicia B. replied:
Kathy Johnson, it's a compilation of advice from veteran HS moms and some are Christian. They still have a lot of really good advice, especially a few of them. Skip the bit about the bible (I didn't even remember it) and substitute poetry or classics.:)

Ashlyn has done ABMouse.com for a while. The print outs as well as online activities are fun. It offers such variety. She's gotten a bit bored with it now but still loves the print outs to a degree. The Starfall is really good too. Have checked it out and have printed a few things there. And also as its been mentioned...Walmart has some great books and other activities that are great.
