I always use a neighbor named William Floyd. He is way cheaper than any company because he doesn't have the overhead and he retired from doing that type of work for the school system. He installed my new system in my last house and I saved thousands. PM me if you want his number. Every time I recommend him people give positive feedback on his service.

Thanks for the recommendations. I will look them up and see if they are prequalified contractors with Duke Progress in case I need to replace a unit. Duke progress gives rebates on energy efficient systems if you use their preapproved contractors.

We really like Brian from Ideal Heating and Cooling. Long story but they went above and beyond. The Pilgrims next door use him too. Good luck! If you need it replaced that's another story. They are kinda pricey being that good. So we went with Blinsson. Ideal still does all the maintenance
