We just used Keith Williams Airetime, cell 919-337-5824. He was 1,500 cheaper then ARS. Called Saturday and was installed Tuesday.
Virginia A. replied:
After having had Ideal Services H&C (557-0004) recommended to us, we had to use them on Thursday. Very pleased with customer service from scheduling person, very professional service tech who explained step-by-step analysis, and answered our many questions. Cost was right on with what it should be for the repair. We will use them again.
Jerry C. replied:
We are defiinitely NOT happy with ARS Heating and Cooling as they tried to sell us a replacement unit for tens of thousands of dollars, when a repair for under $1000 is all that was needed. They will never get my business again, and I will let everyone know why not.

I'm the owner of Ideal Services and your neighbor in Sunset Ridge. We can help you. 919-557-0004. We install and service more new systems than any other Holly Springs Company. We are a Trane Comfort Specialist Dealer with a 99% customer satisfaction rating, we are a Angieslist "super service" awarded company, and have never had a complaint with the BBB. You can rest assured that we have been thoroughly trained, licensed, insured, and will come well equipped to install or service your system right. And you can be sure that we will respect you and your home at all times. If you ever feel that you are not being taken care of in a proper, prompt, and professional manner, please feel free to call me directly at (919) 931-4916.

Airetime is the company that we finally settled on to fix our furnace. I can *not* say enough good things about them. Guy came out in a rainstorm at night to doublecheck something when we thought we had an issue. http://www.airetimenc.com/

1.5 years ago we had both of our 18 year old HVAC systems replaced with high-efficient systems. The HVAC company I selected was RURAL Plumbing & Heating, Raleigh. I am a certified BPI residential energy auditor was meticulous about approaching this expensive project. The first thing I did was to perform a blower-door test on the home to measure the whole-house air-leakage to identify the major sources of air infiltration. Before the two HVAC systems were replaced, I ripped-out all of the poorly insulated ducts in the attic and replaced them with R-8 reflective ducts and sealed all duct connections with mastic so there would be no air leakage. I also sealed most cracks and penetrations between the interior/exterior of the home with 30-year caulk. I have tracked my electricity and natural gas usage for around 10 years. After all the work was completed and the new HVAC systems were installed, overall energy consumption dropped around 36%. Our home is 3500+ sq. ft. and the highest monthly natural gas bill over this past winter was January at $128.47. Our highest electric bill last summer was July at $280.18.
Anybody know of any good hvac people around holly springs? My damn heat won't work!

Quality Air Service - Tony Smith - 919-662-0869/919-427-8934 - PHENOMENAL! Installed a new unit for us over the summer. Part of it ended up being factory defective. He came to my house (in Angier) to check it out the day I called. Drove to Raleigh to get the new part, and back to my house to replace it, all before I even got off work.
Home Repair Depot. The owner are right here in our neighborhood and they are honest and fair. Fixed our air just yesterday!

Question about completing the unfinished part of our house - we have 500+ sq ft to complete. Think it would be worth the investment? We don't need the space, just...

We've always had great service from Airtight heating and cooling in Fuquay. And they came out next day for us last week.
Lori Y. replied:
Comfort Pros! Albert Beamon. We were told both of our units needed to be replaced by a large company. Albert was able to see that after 5 years of "service" it appeared they had never cleaned or looked for the issues. He was able to fix both at less than 1/4 the cost and assured us these weren't bandaids but actual fixes. He also did replace our neighbor's unit quickly and for a fair price.
Ruth S. replied:
Triangle Comfort for sure!
Meredith B. replied:
Quality Heating and Air They were wonderful to work with and always honest! Even cut us a deal bc our home warranty had been so difficult and put us through a mess!
Well i spoke with Lee Air and the blank, blank salesman Erik did not order the part even after randy called them on Monday and told them to order the part. I am so livid...
Dick J. replied:
We have an Apollo system and have been happy with Yellow Dot Heating and Air.

Having Comfort Services (Garner) come now for yet another "diagnostic fee".
Jeanne F. replied:
Phil Pleasant does not charge a diagnostic fee as far as I know
Kathy G. replied:
Phil Pleasant repaired my system. I would definitely recommend him.
Recommendations needed for AC repair/service. Thanks.

Katie Kenney Barbee I had Austin's Heating and Air come out when we had those issues in the ice storm. Steve is the owner and very responsive. They are great and were recommended by people on here I think. http://austinheatingandair.com/
