I am a journalist for Sand Sports Magazine. At times I exceed 140 MPH. and am in need of medical attention from time to time after doing a story on high powered vehicles exceeding 1300 hp. I have researched chiropractors for over 35 yrs. and only found a hand full that meet the criteria of a true professional. Dr. Derek Vaughn meets that criteria here in Castle Rock and is known for his expertise with sports oriented clients. I do not offer this recommendation with out my many years of high expectations and an unwavering track record accomplished by this doctors. In most cases he has accomplished our mutual goal in just one visit. I'm confident you will experience the same high level of success I have achieved with Dr. Vaughn over the course of 5 years. Katie W. replied:
We've gone to Well Within for about a year now and have been very happy. The other people we know who go there are happy too. One friend has been seeing him for 10 yrs! He DOES do a pay per visit as well as monthly and yearly for a discount. He DOES NOT take insurance due to previous experiences with insurers. And as a medical professional, I don't blame him! That's what our free market is about, right? He is free to not take insurance and set his own rates, and we are free to go where we want based on that. Dr Joel is honest, caring and good at what he does. He truly cares about his patients and their overall health. Sounds like you have many great choices here in CR. Good luck in your search!

I know all of the Castle Rock Doctors listed here. The great thing about chiropractic is that each Dr has their own practice and treatment style. Most importantly they are all great docs and passionate about their patients. With that said .. not every patient is a perfect fit for every office. So if one office or treatment style does not get you the results that you had hoped for, there is bound to be another that will. Most Doctors of Chiropractic would be tickled to have you come visit, tour their office and hear about your health care goals, from there I am certain you will find that perfect fit for "you". Best Wishes .. Dr Dave

Dr Vaughn has been amazing for me. I had 20 year old injury that he treated and it rarely ever bothers me anymore, and if it does (maybe once a year) he treats it and I'm good. No more pain reliever for it. I also have a somewhat physically demanding job and sometimes it causes me pain. Dr V every time has helped me. He is also caring and compassionate and really listens. I didn't even really "believe" in chiropractic care until he began treating me 5 years ago. I am a huge believer now.

I've been going to Well within chiropractic in Castle Rock for 3 years. Dr. Joel Kinch is the best, without a doubt. I too have neck pain, from years of marching band and a concert incident in which I was taken down by my neck in a pit. After going to Joel, I actually feel very comfortable, and continue to go for wellness. He's a great man, you will not find one with more character.

Charlie Patin, totally agree. I found a couple chiropractors in Castle Rock that are ok, and a couple that are extremely flawed. I've learned the difference between corrective care and symptom relief. I do have a referral if your interested. Not in Castle Rock, up off Dry Creek and I25. He is worth the drive.

Anyone have a recommendations for a good reasonably priced chiropractor? I'm finally getting tired enough with my upper back pain to start looking at going in.
Carrie G. replied:
Dr Joel at Well Within on 5 th street (going up the hill on the right). He has really good and affordable treatment packages.
I am pretty sure Dr. Bithell does a free consultation. It doesn't get any cheaper than that to figure out if you like him. =D
JP D. replied:
I just started going to Dr. Boyd on 5 th and Jerry and he's worked wonders for my back and shoulder pain. He charges $50 per session but has package deals available too.
Blake H. replied:
I've always kind of been pretty anti chiropractor, but Dr. Bithell is pretty awesome and normal, and has some good packages available in the event you need ongoing visits. If the back hurts, he's the one to go to!
