ISO: highly recommended family doctor. Looking to change. Wanting to stay in Castle Rock. Preferably specialist in womans care
Carrie W. replied:
Plum Creek Medical is pretty good. Do NOT go to Ridgeline. I can explain but boils down to they just aren't as good as they were.
Dianna W. replied:
My doc is a family doctor - Dr. Michelle B. Eason-Delhougne, MD. Their office just moved to the medical buildings by Adventist Hospital. Telephone number is (303) 688-6900. My husband prefers male doctors, so he goes to Dr Orazi whom he really likes! His office is by Safeway in Plum Creek. His phone is 303-688-5025
Penelope T. replied:
I do NOT recommend Plum Creek Medical! There staff is very rude and they have no idea what's covered by insurance and what is not. They do no research ahead of time to see if a procedure or test in included with your annual exam or if it's even covered at all and then bill you ridiculous amounts after the fact.
Lisa W. replied:
I go to Kristine Beck, P.A., at Castle Rock Family. She does everything including well woman exams. She is excellent and does very thorough exams and extensive blood work (I am over 50). I have never had any other doctor do as thorough blood work as I have had here. It's all covered by my insurance. Based on blood work, she also performed a scan of my arteries to check for any blockages. http://mycrfp.com/staff.html
ISO: Looking for a good family doctor in castle Rock that my husband and I can go too...any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
Jeni B. replied:
We are new here and go to Dr. Wilner at Castle Pines Urgent Care & Family Practice. Love them! Extended hours, and weekends.

Roger F. replied:
Melanie Buchheit Racine - I agree. Dr. England has been my GP for almost 20 years, and I trust him explicitly. Yes, they have had some turnover - Docs days these like to get training then move to specialty practice. I trust Dr, England with my life
Debbie B. replied:
I love Dalton Mackay. She is fantastic. Sometimes the office staff is challenging (although that seems to be the trend everywhere lately) but she's worth it.
Looking for a new family practice doctor. Ridgeline Family Medicine is a total joke. I have given them so many many chances and prescriptions don't get called in, blood...

Oliver S. replied:
Dr. MacKay in Castle Rock has a wonderful practice. She is great!
Julie T. replied:
I had the same experience at Ridgeline. Worst patient care ever. We now go to Castle Rock Family Medical and everyone there is wonderful.
Sofia S. replied:
Dr Umbierto Orazi, on Perry Road
Michele S. replied:
I go to Castle Rock Family Physicians... Never have a problem, it's been 11 years. I usually see Chad Boekes, but I have seen Dr. Kasunic and the physician assistants... No issues. The parking lot is right across from the First Bank and Taco Bell, and the building is across from Safeway
Laura C. replied:
My entire family followed Dr. Ruger any place she went and are so sad that she is retiring. That said, it's my opinion that the problems I had with Ridgeline (both Castle Rock locations) is Centura's admin system; their online patient portal is a joke and their billing is a nightmare (I ended up having to pay for a mammogram this year due to coding they refused to correct...yup, you read that right: I had to pay $400+ for a preventative test because they coded it as diagnostic!). So, I am on the hunt for a non-Centura family practice in Castle Rock or Castle Pines and a female doctor who can communicate with female teen patients as well as the older generation. Not looking for holistic or health-guru type, not looking for healthy lifestyle lectures either, just solid medical advice delivered with a smile and gentle touch. Any recommendations?
Rashida B. replied:
I normally see Paige Corbett at Castle Pines Urgent Care and she is AMAZING! I had to go to ridgeline when we changed insurance recently (changing back as soon as we can) and omg I agree!!!!!
Beate H. replied:
Yes. The lab is now closed. Dr. Ruger is retiring. Dr. Perez is starting his own thing in same building but not until July. We walked in for bloodwork on Thursday and were handed a letter stating thet would send medical files to a new doctor of our choice....
Annette L. replied:
I had a horrible experience there as well. I go to Lone Tree Family Practice now and love it there.
I'm looking for an Internal Medicine doctor that is local to Castle Rock or South Denver. Is there one (Please don't give me GPs or Family Practice doctors) who you...
Sarah H. replied:
We love Aldona Staar-Kumosa at Parker Adventist.
Linda C. replied:
Dr. Orazi in Castle Rock. He's terrific.
Anna C. replied:
Randall Snook at Advanced Integrative Medicine in Lone Tree is great! He's just off Lincoln.
Anna C. replied:
I've also heard great things about Dr. Orazi as well
Does anyone in the Fort Wayne area have a family doctor they would recommend? We are looking for one asap!
Abbey N. replied:
Dr. Joe Mattox with Parkview First Care. He's great!
Brittney M. replied:
I like Dr. Barb. He works at a group that, of course, I can't remember the name of right now, but it's at Parkview North. I imagine any of the doctors at that group are good. I'll let you know if I come up with the name. I know it's something obvious like "Parkview Physicians" or something like that. Sigh...
Michelle A. replied:
Dr. Dick he is up at Parkview.
Jamie S. replied:
Dr. Dick did Carson's circumcision when he was born.......yes, really!!:-)
Looking for recommendations. I need a family doctor in castle rock. An MD not worried about exploring alternative medicines and takes a holistic approach to working...
Cameo P. replied:
So from what I understand, you want a doctor that WILL explore alternative routes? If so, I really really really love Dr. Furr at Advanced Integrative Medicine although it's in Lone Tree. It is worth the small drive, he and his office are the best I've ever seen.
Can anyone recommend a family doctor in Castle Rock?
Brian C. replied:
The Doctor game is tough today. Most do not realize it but most of the issues that we have are caused by the government and not just Obama Care! Look at any of your invoices and see what gets paid by Medicare if you are on it or by your insurance policy. I have one that I am looking at right now...this was for a recent surgery that was done in office...the anesthesia was charged at $1535.50. The medicare claim was settled by the doctor for $44.97. You cannot take $800 billion dollars out of a program and have the same level of service. It does not bring all service up to the higher level, it brings it all down to the lower level. This is what we are experiencing. What you will find is that most doctors are having to limit the patients in each program so that they can provide service and stay in business.
Brian C. replied:
We had to wait 2 years to get accepted by a local doctor with Medicare. It is not easy but you can see their point. They took $800 billion dollars out of medicare funding. Worse case you may have to go to the ER at Castle Rock Hospital.
