Tasha Kleinsasser Peters, no hoops to jump through at all, they are awesome. We've been on their plan for about 6 years and in that time we have had our dishwasher, fridge, washer, dryer and furnace all require a repair. They also include an annual furnace or air conditioning service and inspection. I can't say enough good things about them. For $38 a month I love the peace of mind of knowing that I'm not going to get slapped with a hefty bill unexpectedly. My dryer was just fixed last week and the Service Guard guy told me that it was a $400 repair, but I didn't have to pay anything. I really don't know why people wouldn't sign up!

I'd sign up for Service Guard through Black Hills Energy. Their plan has been amazing for us. I love that it's no nonsense and I don't have to worry about getting screwed over.

Sign up for Service Guard through Black Hills Energy. It is like insurance for your appliances and worth every penny. We just got a rebate in the mail for having them come out and do an annual check (for free) on our furnace.

Did you get your vent all cleaned out? We do have a dryer vent cleaning service - sucks them clean from the outside. That usually is the number one cause of dryers not heating. http://mrappliance.com/douglas-county
