Jake is fantastic! He does good work, his prices are good, but he is a bit slack in communication (partially because he is busy because his work and prices are good!) Parker Decks and Basements: (303) 805-7555. One thing really like is, because I am rather handy, he got the permits, dug and poured footings, and framed it. I saved over $1000 by finishing it myself. What builder is going to let you do that?? :)

Beware of Omega Designs owned by Omar Cisneros. He put some faulty lighting that broke, a fence around our air conditioning that fell after a month, and plants that died right away. He promised us a one year warranty for everything and refuses to fix it. We even told him about it last year and said he'd come back to address everything in the spring. Go somewhere else for landscaping--there are plenty of other quality landscapers out there.

Please check the Town's website for a registered landscaper. In Castle Rock, landscapers must be registered with the Town to work in the Town. As a registered landscaper whom help write the landscape rules, I know people whom were suggested before are not registered. A private landscapers whom are registered with the Town are Duane and Ben, owners of Douglas County Maintenance and Repair or Joe Cain, owner of Colorado Property Care. Both local companies. Please use registered landscapers. There is a reason the Town requires landscapers to be registered

Shawn Slade - we used CoCal Landscaping for our backyard patio project and worked with Patrick Richie. They were excellent and very reasonable, and did some plantings for us, but it was more of a hardscaping thing. That being said, Patrick now has his own company (lives in the Meadows) called Outdoor Innovations. Might be worth talking to him.
